Juan's passion for photography and film began at the age of seven when he received his first camera lesson from his father and grandfather. Since then, his love for the craft has only grown.

As a teenager, school was not his strong suit; he enjoyed being there, but the creative distractions were stronger than the daily lessons. This led him to discover the power of imagery at an early age. Juan constantly carried a camera with him, a habit that eventually gave him the opportunity to work for clients all over the world. He loves people and constant interaction, and his goal is always to create and capture unique and meaningful moments, both real and staged.

His focus is always on the human aspect in the business world. Juan captures people passionately engaged in their work or passion, creates original portraits, and produces advertising and campaign images and videos for companies worldwide. His work is inspired by legendary photographers such as Peter Lindbergh, Marc Lagrange, Annie Leibovitz, Helmut Newton, and Erwin Olaf. Their influence is clearly visible in his work.

In addition to photography and film, Juan has a special love for modernist and minimalist architecture and design. Le Corbusier and Ludwig Mies van der Rohe inspire him. Music plays a crucial role in his life and connects every emotion. His musical taste ranges from U2, Coldplay and The Boss to Pink, The War On Drugs and New Order. The automotive industry has also inspired him from a young age. The designs of Erwin Franz Komenda and Ferdinand Porsche have helped shape who he is today.

Not every path is easy; we lose people and welcome new life. These experiences have profoundly shaped Juan. Although he’s often late, he’s always worth the wait and will always deliver. Born and raised by two loving parents who traveled the world to fall in love, he is half Belgian (father's side) and a half Filipino/Chinese (mother's side). He is the youngest of two brothers, father to J&A, and husband to H.

Juan drops everything for good food in good company, prefers wine over beer, and loves to travel for his work. He is bilingual in English and Dutch and prefers a phonecall and whatsapp over email, but nothing beats a live meeting.
